Welcome to The W Spot.

We invite you to read, comment, discuss, debate, consider, experience, share, and build an online Barnard community that supports health and wellness. Our peer educators, along with staff, will be blogging about intimate, local, and global aspects of wellness. (Also: look out for invited surprise guest bloggers–faculty, alumni, and reps from student organizations). You’ll find opinions, analysis, news, ideas, reviews, interviews, links (even recipes) to chew on with your friends and classmates.

Blog well. Be well.

This is fantastic! I can’t wait to read what the Well-Women write about! I got to meet a couple of them when I did a sex toy workshop at Columbia recently and they were fantastic.

I blog for Babeland (http://blog.babeland.com) and would love to link back and forth between the blogs if there are things the Well-Women would like to link to.

    Great work!

I was just accepted into Barnard a couple days ago and am trying to make a decision on where I’d like to go out of my accepted colleges. I’m reaaaally leaning towards Barnard for all of its academics and programs and opportunities, but can someone tell me their opinions from inside the school? My friends all give me weird looks when I tell them it’s a Womens college, first of all, which doesn’t really bother me, but anything would help… thanks!!

Hi Elena–applications will be on our blog in the spring semester, probably in early March. In the meantime, please feel free to stop by the office to learn more about being a peer ed! Thanks so much for your interest!
