Sleep Tips for Back to School

I have trouble settling into sleep routines, especially when I’m in a new environment (like my room in Hewitt this semester) or when I’m stressed and hectic — sound familiar? If you’d like some tips for restful sleep, particularly useful in this transition period of getting back into the swing of things at school, check out this post over at Zen Habits.

Also strongly recommended: drinking herbal tea! Whether mint, chamomile, or another favorite, I find that both the soothing warmth as well as the ritual of taking time for myself to unwind can be really helpful on days when I’ve been stressed and might have trouble sleeping.

Where can you get herbal tea, you ask? Oh yeah…the Well Woman office! Stop by our office hours (in 119 Reid — two lefts when you enter the Brooks entrance of the Quad) from 7 — 9 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday to grab a cup and relax.
