The “Eat Well, Be Well” Dinner is featured on the Barnard website highlights!

I was beyond excited to see that, on the “Highlights” page of the Barnard website, Well Woman and Dining Services were featured as the first story!

Well Woman Peer Educators were on hand to talk to students about the special menu and surveyed students about their food choices, knowledge, and interests. Peer Educators also gave out “food books” they’ve created and hosted a “Pleasures of the Table” dinner discussion at a table reserved for interested students. The Barnard Eco Reps were also present to answer questions about eating locally and sustainably.

The “food books” were made by the food subcommittee of Well Woman. They’re available in PDF copy, so if you want one, please shoot us an e-mail at welwoman@barnard.edu!

  1. I feel so bad that I couldn’t come! I checked out the story and I was impressed by how in-depth it was. The pictures of the food cards looked amazing in Hewitt. I also just listened to the interview with Chelsea, Helene, and Emily on iTunes (so cool) and they were very well-spoken and knowledgeable! Bravo well woman!
