April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month!

Happy April, everyone! Thankfully, this month has got a great deal in store besides showers, flowers, and skirts without tights (if we’re lucky).

So you all know that April is the time for Take Back The Night – on a similar note, to kick off Sexual Assault Awareness Month, The Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Program is co-sponsoring an event with the Chaplain’s officeSexual Violence within Faith Communities: Counting the Dialogue.

The event will take place, TONIGHT, April 1, 2009 at 7:00 PM in Earl Hall.  It sounds fascinating (how much campus dialogue actually ties sexual violence and religion together?), so go out and support!

p.s. I’ve been told by a friend that the Columbia men’s peer educators are making a calendar for SAAM, so be on the lookout for that too!
