Migration

An excellent and absolutely intriguing article by the NY Times on migration, remittances, and familial relationships in an increasingly globalized time.  Tells the story of Dilip, a man, but it’s relevant to women, too: most migrant workers are women, especially in the ‘fields’ of house-keeping, care-giving, and as sex workers (willingly and otherwise).  Spend some time thinking about this one.
